The Christmas Tree
by Roderick T. Long
[written around 8, or 1972-ish, in San Diego.]
I think that I shall never see: a poem as lovley as a christmas tree.*
It,s true! Once there was a tree who was very sad. Nobody ever said, what a nice tree! All they said was what a stupid tree! but, 1 day, a little boy named James went and used him as a tree.
The End.
